What Type of Perm Can I Have?
We can do various perms, on long, medium or short length straight hair. Also we perm on naturally curly or wavy hair to enhance and even out your natural curls and help with unwanted frizz.
My Hair is Already Dyed, Can I Still Have a Perm?
Perms will work better on virgin hair (no previous chemical service, colour, keratin services) Although some dyed hair can be permed depending on its condition. To determine whether your hair is suitable for a perm we will carry out a perm test curl, we do this by cutting a small snipping from the back of your hair and we will perm that piece of hair, this will enable us to analyse if the hair is safe to perm.
How Long Do Perms Last?
Perm curls may drop a little after 1 to 6 weeks, but after that with the correct aftercare perms can last approximately, 4 to 9 months. Or in some cases until the hair has been cut out.
Will a Perm Damage My Hair?
In some cases, a perm may cause dryness especially with incorrect after haircare – To avoid damage and dryness, good quality shampoos, conditioners and treatments must be regularly used after perming. And all haircare advice and recommendations will be given during your appointment.
How Long Does a Perm Take to Do?
Expect to be in the salon chair between 2 to 5 hours (this will depend on length and thickness of hair)
How Much will a Perm Cost?
Our prices start from £70-£300 this depends on stylist carrying out the service and length and thickness of hair.
